Wolf... I saved some of my Turkish Lira, just to be cautious. For example, I still have an "iki buchuk" -- which is a 2 1/2 lira bill, roughly equal to a taxi ride in Istanbul in 1957, or a decent tip for one of the dancers in the "Caravan Club". . With the lira now worth a little over 1,000,000 to the dollar, my "iki buchuk" should be worth....hmmmmm..... something like 25 100,000th of a cent.. Sort of destroys the matress theory of investing, doesn't it? <GG>
Wolf... as a guess, we could be within 10-15% of the low on the Naz, to be followed by a huge, failed rally, followed by a repeat of the low, a la '73/'74... A good chance to make some money picking up the value stocks --- the ones they used to call growth stocks <ggg> At least it's worth a try...

Wolf... While you're hibernating....... ERF is now in my portfolio. E! found out that they are now listed on the nyse (ERF is the largest of the Canadian resources trusts, pays about 20% -- for those who don't normally track this stuff). And I had to have a few hundred shares. The "ex-div" today was something of a surprise....
Are you an owner of the Canadian version of ERF, Wolf, and how do you feel about it compared to the other resource trusts? Thanks..
