Mot gonna may report a loss next quarter
NT gonna report a loss...
is this the start of a trend for tech companies?

so much for the earnings growth projections of the past?

That is why it gets interesting. These companies (if they recover) are going to get favorable comparables within the next year and growth rates may start looking incredible again. When do people buy. My feeling is that they will do so within the next 2 months(yesterday looked like the start of this to me), especially with declining interest rates that make money market investments less attractive in a few months...the trillions that are being poured into those funds finds its way into the market at a steady pace.

A lot of pros want to buy tech..some say buy now, others buy middle of the year...and still others saying buy next year. The question remains how many are recommending dumping techs at these prices (general comment on large comments..not necessarily on Cisco itself). That is why I feel that selling pressure is going to dry up.

Are you surprised? I think they've only made their estimates about twice in the last 2 years.knc
