*OT* TA- Lying and government go hand in hand....if Clinton seemed better at it, maybe he was...but maybe that is because he is lawyer too (G)..

Let's not put any of these guys on too high a pedastal....
(BTW- So far, I am impressed by Bush's sincerity. I do believe he is a fairly honest guy. But the question is competency. We'll know soon enough)..

Also- As an example of a great human being, Jimmy Carter would qualify. Regardless of his Presidential track record (which, was not that good, granted, but I think other Presidents would have struggled under similar circumstances), Carter has been exceptional in post-Presidential causes...not going for the big bucks; hanging out w/celebs, playing golf, etc.........instead, doing a lot of great humanitarian stuff. It is clear what his character is about..

BTW- I'm an independent...fiscally leaning conservative, socially leaning liberal...
