NewYorkCityBoy, I am new to this thread and you. I do (unfortunately?) own a few shares of Brcd. I am interested in where you see as a good place to put money. Obviously not techs (ever?). Would you go short the techs (mania's can return any time...), or just concentrate on your day job and buy bonds? I am very interested in your concrete suggestions. Thanks in advance if you choose to comment. Steve D.

Now if more CEOs and CIOs would just pay attention to Jack Welch we would have a great situation...

<<The CEO of General Electric, Jack Welch, articulated his stance on IT spending for 2001 pretty succinctly during a CNBC broadcast earlier this year. He said, "In this company, we are driving the hell out of IT spending. We think it is the lifeblood of the company, and digitization's the most important thing we've undertaken. This is the moment to widen the gap -- you won't see one ounce of slowdown in tech spending from us.">>

Best Regards,

Scott

BTW, IMO BRCD is an OVERsold SAN powerhouse that will come back strong....my recent purchase in the mid 30s could look good 6-9 months from now...=)
