KF-Dr J criticised what looks like competition. The market will simply take that as against the telco sector and sell the lot and ask afterwards.Period.

I don't blame him for doing so. It had to be done but in this market the damage is uncontrollable as we are now witnessing.

Incredibly this damage is being done at this time in the history of teh Q as all the promise gets justified.

PCS is going ot deploy and if VZ doesn't then they PCS will ahve the US to themselves. now how many Americans would like to have mobile internet at 144Kbps. Same for Korea and Canada.

DoCoMo keeps sating they are going to deploy W-CDMA in May.

What we are seeing is panic and a short feeding frenzy. It will end.

Q is not SUN or INTC it is growing. no-one has even hinted at a warning. Q is just getting going. The others are great companies but theyhave had their major growth periods and Q hasn't yet but it will.

Best regards,

L

<I can't help but to laugh whenever I read the other thread. Another person calling WCDMA vaporware - what a complete friggin joke. This nonsense has to stop.>

What's your definition of vaporware? By computer and telco standards, WCDMA is vaporware until someone launches a successful commercial system. 1XEV is vaporware at this point, also.

I believe the term was derived from "big blue's" marketing tactics and clout in the 70's. As soon as the competition comes out with something better than yours, announced a better product(then scramble to make it happen). They are still scrambling to make WCDMA "happen".
