Yes, NTAP sells systems, using Intel components to both Intel and
other NTAP customers, but they apparently already decided to go to
Intel processors with the 840 recently. I'm saying, NTAP is getting
more sales into Intel without changing their direction - they were
using Intel processors anyway for price/performance reasons.

Let's do negative speculation for NTAP: Intel gets all the BILLION
dollars for components over the 7 years, hmmmm, at the projected
average selling price for a filer, how many filers AND HOW MUCH
REVENUE for NTAP does that translate to? Oh, wait, that works
out to be EXTREMELY positive for NTAP also... hmmmmm.

Sorry, I'm grouchy this morning.

I see this deal as a major positive to NTAP. They have
to buy CPU chips from somebody and I assume Intel is as
price performance competitive as anyone else out there. Plus
this deal generates positive PR right now and will probably
serve as a great reference account in selling to other accounts.
