<What did you base your investment in QCOM and why is it down 14 today and down 37 in the last few days??>

Fundamentals, good management, best technology, huge IPR portfolio, FUTURE EPS growth rate projections. Sure the stock is down today, so what. I'm not selling and I'm not on margin. My average cost basis in the stock is $3.99. If I paid attention to trailing p/e's I would have been out of this stock way before the 1999 move.

Why is the stock down 37 points in the last few days? QCOM is not down because of its trailing p/e, its down because of overblown fear in the wireless sector. Forward looking p/e's matter, not trailing p/e's.
