Bill Gross of PIMCO has a good handle on what's developing. He's in full defensive mode. That indicates a desire to preserve capital. That's always the primary goal of any prudent money manager.

I thought Alger had a great way of referring to how he reduced his exposure to tech stocks, that the market reduced his exposure for him.
