That "what's one more" attitude is why we have so many regulations to begin with. Instead of creating all sorts of new rules, positions, paperwork, etc., that they will find a way around anyway, wouldn't it be easier just to ignore the brokers, and make your own decisions based on your own research. I'm so sick of the whiner mentality in this country, people are always blaming someone when things don't go their way instead of just saying "damn, I shouldn't have bought that stock." Instead people are making millions for spilling coffee on themselves.

Not saying all regulations are bad, but I get a little skeptical when they are predicated by the fact that people are losing money at their online casinos.

And the fact that large firms may have departments to comply with all this hand holding, does nothing for me who spends half my time complying with stupid filings that nobody ever looks at, but are there to protect people from themselves. Maybe I'm too much of a Libertarian.
