Things have been moving down so long and so directionally that a bounce here is not out of the question. The slow movement on the SP after breaking important support was a key sign.

We need to be on guard here, and develop some scenarios.

Rather than pick a "bottom", a longer term investor is going to see what happens on the first significant retracement.

Assuming of course that an uptrend even develops the daily charts.

Has anybody ever looked at a "weekly" Nas chart and how similar things are to 1998?

Now, I know things are a lot different now than they were then, but c'mon, Nas and Dow both are oversold horribly. I am looking for bounce to around the 2500-2600, then it will be time to load up the shorts again.

Oh, by the way, try drawing some extended lines on the charts and you will see what I am talking about.

Good luck to all

Thank goodness. Was worried about you. Sorry for the late reply to your post Message 15400515

Any thoughts as to if this was a bottom we just saw?
