limtex, I think much of the market's recent insanity is due to loss of confidence in GS. Up until December of 2000, he was regarded almost as an GOD-like figure. Now the WSers wonder if GS knows what his is doing. Q! will prevail the company as well as the stock - there is no question about it. Ibexx

Interesting all the BS wire headlines which are basically saying Qualcomm is the problem with the slow roll out in Europe. At least we bounced from 50 for today. Pisani now talking about fear. Believe fear is now at max in QCOM. Can't believe SUNW is holding up so well. ML Mike Ching actually put out a resonable note on QCOM today saying that the Euro story is old news. Pisser is my wife wanted me to sell two days ago at 74. She was right. I could be scooping up leaps now.

When people can put their hands on a PDA with internet access at 144Kbps they are going to freak out. It is faster than most people have in thier homes!!! And don't forget people like me who can't get DSL or ISDN in our homes (I use DirecPC now, which sucks). We'll use the 144K for our current fixed computers. Better yet, I'll throw out the desktop and get a laptop with wireless access so I can walk around the house with it, take it to the coffee shop or anywhere else. Lest anyone think that only those really "out in the boonies" would do this, we are just eight miles from the city and our phone lines max out at 25K. There has to be tens of millions of us out there.
