Allan -- Re : Dr. Jacobs saying "Okay, you (douchebags) want to try to do WCDMA, ... fine. We (Qualcomm) are actually capable of producing something other than just press releases (by which I mean : Qualcomm has already announced that their ASIC chip division will "sample" WCDMA chips).

I still think Qualcomm made the correct decision.

It would be very hard to just maintain the attitude of "WCDMA will never happen."

You never know just how stubborn or stupid certain people or companies or countries can be.
