Al... Would be nice to get the Fed cut early next week.... they are overdue, and it could give us a nice trading rally... but, imho, another short-lived one. If this market decline is anything at all like the '73/'74 one, the high flyers would have to get back to a more "normal" PE .... meaning they could still get cut in half from here. We haven't really seen the big volumes of a capitulation yet.....
I'll be voting for a rally, all right, but I'm expecting to make the big moves on an expected re-test from whatever low we end up at..... hopefully at some number above zero <gg>

Alan,

I don't mean to be a wet blanket, but 60% isn't much of a chance in my book......and besides, why does everyone get all excited about rate cuts coming a few weeks before the regular meeting? If they already know he is cutting 1/2 point in March what does a few weeks earlier matter?
