Y, <<1/4 rate cut is already in the market>> IMO more like 1/2 is already in the market. We could even have a sell the news on a rate cut this week. An early rate cut may scare the market more than help.

Those dotcoms borrowed a lot of money that can’t be repaid. Maybe Bear Stearns should buy gold and keep its mouth shut? <VBG>
