Don't get me wrong, guys. It's not like I'm disappointed there's no Armageddon waiting to happen here.

I would like to see things get better economically, but I've come to realize that the market simply does not reflect economic conditions even on a broad scale. These wild gyrations are driven by Wall St manipulation via computerized trading systems and financial spin-doctors who's primary concern is to move the markets to their favor.

Anyone who thinks that knowing economic conditions on both micro and macoeconomic levels can therefore foretell the direction of the market is fooling themselves. And I must admit, I've fooled myself sufficiently to not predicate my expectations on what I see happening in the domestic and global economies. There is no set logic to it.
