Long-gone: That is a very abstract cheap simplified analysis of what "modern liberalism" is. Personally, I think the author is way off base and wrong. Nevertheless, I was impressed in the breakout of HM today. Bush II appears to me to be quite liberal in some respects and not all that different thus far in some ways from Clinton/Rubin/Summers. But time will tell. I am still shocked by his radical liberal pumping of money in the historically out of touch Department of Education and O'Neills pronouncement of a strong dollar policy.
