They have every chance of being treated legally like other people- since the law makes no distinction, and no distinction should be made. The laws protecting against child abuse will apply to clones- so I really don't see the problem. I rather doubt that someone is going to spend 200k to clone a child and then treat it badly. I think it is most often the unwanted child that is treated badly.
