JLA, Have you been watching the "Pops Goes The Fourth" on independence day. It is quite a show, with a variety of music, and a huge fireworks display at the end. As one might expect, the last piece is the "1812 Overture" with real howitzers fired by the National Guard, and a tower full of bells. They do it every year, and it is broadcast on A & E.

Under Fiedler and Williams, it was the best. But Lockhart is the Clinton of maestros, and the music shows it. IMO.
