E:

On the miners I wouldn't be surprised with one more move down if money chases tech again on a bounce. I'm not sure when (if) gold will move but right now I'm anticipating a naz move up so maybe they move down a little or consolidate. If they just take off thats ok since I have a good position to participate (just didn't back up the truck).

I don't expect a fed cut now (unless naz breaks 2000) until the March 20th meeting. I do expect a 50 bp cut @ that time. Right now I also anticipate one more cut in April / May time frame (more to quell the reaction to what will be occuring out of Japan and the earnings warnings for the 2nd & 3rd qtr with 1st qtr actuals) but we need to see how the markets react to the 3rd cut 1st.

I saw the gold news, thanks. Fundamentaly intermediate to long term I don't see any great move in gold (over $300 we see more capacity back on line) but I can see a spike over $300 in the short term.

Closed out my natural gas and drillers yesterday. Maybe get back in that sector in May.
