Scusi, ma what Blomquist? Mixing lowest and highest European.

My post had to do with someone or other arguing that one could take short term losses in a regular brokerage account and then buy back the same stock in an IRA without penalty or wash sale rules.

Seems to be an unsettled event.

My own view would be than since it is impossible to take tax-deductible losses in an IRA, the iRA should be totally independent of any other investment account--taxable account.
