Khan, when installing base stations, there are a lot of factors need to consider which is called networks planning. For high popular area, usually you need to use microcell or even picocell to increase coverage, usually for slow motion users or in door coverage(like in big shopping mall, building, etc) while the Macrocell for high speed users moving in large areas. Microcell and picocell are easier to install and consume less power than Macrocell and more flexible in planning the coverage area. They can actually hang on the pole or wall, can choose to use multisector or omni direction etc. All depends on the anticipated capacity etc.
