1. I like IBM hard drives. Just my personal preference. I hate Maxtor.

2. You must be running Windows 95, or ran Windows 95 when those partitions were made? They will not cause any problems. Are you using FAT32? Using Partition Magic, you could always partition your new large HD, and keep your exisitng HD as a 6.4 GB C:. You can do this with easy using Partition Magic:

3. If your computer will let you install 4 IDE devices, it doesn't matter. I would install the HD first. What processor and how old is your computer?
