Watson, Netscape Poll: Were pardons exchanged for votes in the N.Y. Senate race? I thought Hillary won by a few hundred thousand votes. Were there that many pardons given out? Maybe we should do trial by Netscape? It would be much more efficient, and would get us around all those annoying ideas the founders of our country had about protecting people's rights. The Clintons both deserve to be in jail.... him and his buck tooth thieving wife. Everyone with buck teeth should be in jail. That would make it safer for those who want to sell off our children's legacy. Scumbria

By personal gain I am talking not only about money but also campaign contributions or doing governmental favors in exchange for votes. Jennifer Flowers included Bill giving her a job with the state; with Paula he had state trooper bring her up to the room, Travelgate was about firing federal employees and giving his pals the job; which is legal, but then sticking the FBI on the old employees in order to justify the firings; Whitewater included sticking the people of Arkansas for a $300,000 loan , alleged payoffs and a gov. job for Hubbell. These NY pardons weren't the first time Bill's has used the office to aggrandize himself. What is different now is Bill's friends have left him, and Bill doesn't have the the bully pulpit to overcome the other bad press. That is why, I doubt he will overcome this. He needs friends in high places ; and he needs to actively use the press to go on the offensive, not send Kendall out to delay the truth as he did with the library subpoena's. As far as the bucktooth wife(ouch) she is just a crooked as he is; they deserve each other.
