NetZero Announces Distribution Agreement with IBM

NetZero Platinum Pay Internet Service Chosen for IBM's Affinity Programs

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif., Apr 5, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- NetZero, Inc. (Nasdaq: NZRO chart, msgs), a leading provider of free and pay Internet access services with over 8.4 million registered users, announced today that it has signed a two-year agreement to become a provider of dial access Internet services for IBM's Affinity programs.

As part of the relationship between the two companies, NetZero Platinum, NetZero's new bannerless pay service, will become one of the primary choices when Affinity partners require prepaid Internet service.
