Even More So To The Bagholders That Sold In Late March, Bought In At A Higher Price when Told The Bottom Was In Early April,
Sold Again In May, Waited Till The Bottom Was Really In This Time So They Didn't Get Back In Until Late June, Bailed Again in Late June And Did Not Get Back In Until The End Of August In Time For The September Rally. And then threw up their hands in late November and decided to wait for the new year and tax selling to end and to get back in late January.

Earlie: Perhaps I was not clear. I hope you all will read and comment on this:

My postings are not with respect to the current state of the market but as to how the system works in general. My point is that there is nothing that is going to change about this system because of the downturn. I have no doubt that we will see deeper debt and more small companies failing, but there is no apparent point where we are seeing an uprising of decent against our current system.

There hasn't been a single remark on this thread responding to my charge that the markets are overwhelmingly controlled and that activities like Friday afternoon were largely impacted by programmed trading.

Has everyone here simply agreed to agree with everyone else that the markets are going down and that's that ? Is that what this thread is about ?

I'd like to pose a question for you all :

Are you satisfied with the way are financial system is run, who runs it, and who stands to benefit most from it ?

In my view, we are overdue for some changes.
