Yes, I do. I see it on both sides to some extent.

Many times, I see it as 'deciding what is right for me first, and then fitting everything else in that fits'.

It's amusing. The most amusing part of all of this, to me, is that it is obvious that some people appears to understand both sides, and some don't see anything but their own view.

It seems to me to be a lot like organized crime. For some, the premise is that "everyone" is a criminal, and "everyone", given some specific circumstance, would act the same way as a criminal would under those circumstances. That logic only works if you're a criminal. And that's fine with me, because the criminals underestimate their opponents.

The really funny thing is that the liberals now seem to be confused about why the mainstream press has "turned on them" and started attacking Clinton. It just cracks me up.

It reminds me of the "best picture" of 1991, where Meyer Lansky finally figures out that Bugsy has kinda stepped over the line...like, "Hey, we have rules, here!"

Zoltan:

"Even those somewhat wary of large tax cuts under most circumstances never object to accurately crediting Clinton-Gore for their recession."

I doubt that Clinton caused this recession anymore than they are responsible for the prosperity during most of their term. The fact is politicians are never going to legislate away the economic cycles. All of this hysteria by libs on how bad the country was when they took over and how Clinton revived it and by Repubs about how bad things are now is a gross exageration by both sides. The economy was not bad during the last recession, regardless of whether you attribute it to Bush or not and it is not all that bad now. We have been through much worse under both parties.
