There is at least one major inaccuracy in that post. Qualcomm did not spend $4.5 billion on Globalstar. Its total exposure is around $600 million, and it has written it off already. Globalstar did cost $4.5 billion, spread between the bondholders, the equity holders, Loral and Qualcomm.
