GS = Greenspan best known name in the markets. When GS started increasing interest rates, the market continued being overheated. So he increased some more and more and then some more. Finally the markets got the message. So they reversed and started going downhill. Now he is reducing interest rates. If that doesnt stimulate the economy he will reduces some more and then more. The economy will get stimulated. The only question is whether you will wait to invest when it is too late (just as many waited to get out before) or whether you will believe GS and invest now.
