I've seen lots of them up close and personal. I've planted trees in them with my own hands and I've caused millions of them to be planted in my career. I'm within view of the Tongass on all sides and could walk to it in 30 minutes. There seem to be no clearcuts in sight. The fact is almost EVERY tree was cut around here back at the turn of the last century for mining purposes. <<Have you ever seen a clear cut? Have you ever seen the Tongass National Forest? >>
