I tend to agree with that. I'm looking for a short bounce in the QQQ chart, but there is a good chance the COMP chart goes to near 2,000 by mid-month.

I'm hearing horror stories about people who exercised stock options near the 'peak of greed" last year, and now owe millions on what turned out to be huge losses, since the IRS counts that paper gain as real money. Idiots. Wait, I didn't say that. The IRS are very nice people. The people who write the tax code are idiots.

The downshot being that some stock may need to be sold, to help cover these phantom paper gain tax liabilities.
