more likely than GPRS cancellations will be
GPRS disuse

More money wasted by the carriers, they will be hard pressed to justify putting in infrastructure and not use it.
The banks and other creditors have them under a very bright spotlight and they need to prove their viability..
Would like to know more of how 1xEV would compliment GPRS.

The cost of installation of an upgrade of GSM infrastructure to accomodate GPRS is not
great as I understand it, and many are underway and/or complete.

Maybe we will see some leagal suits for breach of contract for non performance of the installed GPRS systems.
Sonera and MOT come to mind.

Since there are really no working GPRS handsets yet we can't use them as a clue, yet.gg
