Yaacov - Re: "Emerging leaders? there are no emerging leaders, there are only survivors and the dead. "

Very well phrased !!

There is a lot of truth in your comment.

Hi Yaacov, SEMI-OTOT

First, I wish to echo Paul E.'s response to your excellent remarks.

Re. survivors are INTC. CSCO. ORCL. SUNW. MSFT. DELL. CPQ. IBM. HWP. Q-COmm.

I am glad you included the last one, QCOM, on your survisors list, especially in light of what happened at Cannes's GSM conference last week.

From your vantage point, could you share with us just how optimistic (or pessimistic) are you about the migration of GSM=>wCDMA in Europe? Any chance of weakening of control by EU telcos re. the third-generation (3G) wireless standard?

An European perspective from an objective and well-seasoned investor would be very valuable!

Thanks in advance for any comments you may have.
