This article also discusses some of the reasons why the timing (and price) are great for VSH but not so good for SILI minority shareholders. There are lots of good reasons to think that current chip valuations are at or very near long term valuation lows: a great time to be buying (VSH) but not a great time to be selling (us).

Thread,

Very good discusion... Funny that TRoy mentions $50. My average is just above that at $52 and I won't sell for less... When the cycle turns, SILI is easily worth more than that and we all know that this stock runs like the wind, so in a good market, there is little distance between $31 and $51...

However, what choice do I individually have? I assume I will get to vote, but what voters will really matter? Fidelity, the "Board?"

Thanks,
Dan
