ild -yes, it is a monthly newsletter with daily stock recommendations. Newsletter sent and on web page.
Maybe, from what I gather, they sometimes might move the stock - but not always and not to the full extent.
But, then again, all the newletters, business magazines, and newscasts move markets.

No, not really daytrading. But in this volatile market, he is making an exception for quick profits.

He recommended to short IBM for the short term, I think last Fri (16) morning. On Tues it started dropping from 115+ to 104+.
Also, a CSCO short before their earnings.
Also long on BRDC for one day after they dropped big. And sell the following day when they were added to the index. He said be happy with a couple of dollars.. and it worked, but not if you stayed longer than the one day recommendation.
He is for long term tech investments, but understands now is not the time to invest much in it. So, he is trying to answer what should a tech magazine publisher do in this case.

Front running? Who knows.
