Ike: One more quick comment about that "ignore this person" function. If you check all 3 boxes, it wipes out ALL of their posts (past, present,& future); ditto for all posts written to the abusive person; and prevents the abusive person from PMing you. It's as if the abusive person has never even existed - regardless how much talent they have or don't have, and regardless whether they like it or not! They are 'gone.' Kemo Sabe

Don't worry about those yokels, Ike. Ignore function isn't a bad idea tho--you can just let somebody know you're going to ignore them for a few days or few weeks until they settle down. Or don't let them know, whatever. It's a very useful function. Keep up the great work!

Ike, Whenever you are attacked you exercise the utmost patience and tolerance. It caused me to search through my library for a book from Gerald G. Jampolsky, MD in which he states "Love, which is what I am, requires no defenses". He goes on to say "I am determined that on this day I will follow a path of love and defenselessness, neither attacking nor defending. Remind me to hold everyone's heart, including my own, gently". You, more than anyone on SI exemplify these rare traits. Keep the faith.
