I have never heard Bob or read any of his writings to support what you are asserting. No personally knowing Bob, I have no way of confirming this asserting, although it certainly is possible.

I can tell you only the meaning I placed on the words and that meaning is in the post to which you are replying. I can only speak for myself and have no way to know how many other people understood the words the way I did.

Your interpretation certainly is interesting and it never would have occurred to me as a possible meaning.

That is exactly how I would interpret it. Nothing in life is digital or absolute except for humans trying to quantize nature. According to quantum physics, EVERYTHING is a probability distribution. As an engineer/scientist by training, I too often forget that the world doesn't share my views and I need a translater... 8)
