I liked the story about the guy throwing the starfish back into the sea. When asked, "What difference can you possibly make?" He says, "All the difference for this one!" Maybe I'm just bummed from the two dead robins I saw on my bike ride the day before yesterday. We don't get that many and they are seasonal. It made me sad. But all is not dark and gloomy - I saw a little flock of goldfinches as well working the periphery of the vineyard. They were adorable. So perfect and tiny. What little marvels.
