said demand for certain technology remains consistent with targets

Hey are you trying to be cynical to Reuters? Or Qcom?

biz.yahoo.com

Why didn't they just say.. "Earnings are in line with guidance"?

If they say that then it's conspiracy theory B. LOL

I am sure someone will ask that "all important question" on Tuesday Morning!!

The answer will be the start of conspiracy theory C. <ggg>

Re : "demand for certain technology remains consistent with targets.

How about this interpretation :

"Certain" technology as opposed to "un-certain" technology ?

In other words : Qualcomm's cdma 2000 1x is the certain one.

Europe's GPRS / EDGE / WCDMA is the uncertain one.

Jon.

>>>So does that mean that "certain technology" does not remain consistent with targets?<<<

Funny, I thought the same thing for a second, but later thought it was nothing. But then again...I still am not convinced we will continue to have earnings that beat estimates.
