If AG cuts on Monday after Angel's comments, he'll look like he is totally cowtailing to Wall Street pressure...as if Angel is dictating policy to him...at a minimum, he has to wait until Tuesday's consumer confidence report...and use that as an excuse......But given the recovery in markets Friday, and a possible follow-thru on Monday, I expect he'll sit out....and then I would expect him to wait (if the numbers are awful) until the Naz/Dow approach 2k/10k again..or if we stall at these levels..

You raise a very interesting premise....however, I think the market will give AG thru Wednesday, and key off of that Tuesday report....if no action by Wednesday, I think some despondency will set in...and selling too...

Finally, this is all under the assumption that the Tuesday report is bad....if it is not-so-bad...we may get nothing at all until meeting...especially if market rallies here short-term for many days...
