perhaps I should say if things went any faster we wouldn't think at all.

If you hadn't said it, I would have.

Hi X,

Just perusing the threads again.. I seen your quote
"Society is a drag on technology- and technology probably needs a bit of a drag on it."

I agree, because tech today, like the various forms of ART in the past represents the mind and the imagination of a few selected people.. The selected being the ones, not afraid to explore their imagination.. And so rest, aka as society,, will never keep up with that thought process, but fortunately and unfortunately, they do keep the runaway minds of the few in check.. So they act as an anchor.

A runaway mind, can cause good and evil, But society is unable to differentiate between the two AT THE TIME.. Only in retrospect do they.. It is sort of like morals, Only in retrospect are morals defined, after all the good and evil are put into the equation.. Damn few in society can recognize AT the time what the unknowns in a moral equation are.. Or if they do, have the COURAGE to insert them INTO the societal part of the equation or to act upon them..

I hope your winter is going well with you and yours..

c

Anyone else glad to see the worthless scum Clintons & the short Democrat bankers are no longer getting rich on the backs South Africa, miners of the gold, & the investors in gold mining?

In 50 years or so when the truth of this corruption of theirs comes forward will their record ever change!
