Scumbria, From "we cheated to get what we wanted but nonetheless we can not allow these irregularities to continue; however, we must be careful how we couch our words" dep't: It was announced this week that Kathleen Harris, yes the same K. Harris we got to know real well recently, is seeking $200 million to overhaul FL's voting equipment. At the time of the announcement, Ms. Harris noted carefully, "I want voting systems that will make the will of the voter self-evident". Apparently, Ms Harris will not be an ambassador to Paris like I had thought. I guess her delivery of the vote for Bush amidst a major brouhaha coupled with the questionable vote counting practices within FL will keep Ms Harris stateside for the foreseeable future......which goes to prove there is a God after all. ted

Sumbria Re..I have about zero respect for Bush, the Congress, or the press (in case that isn't already obvious.)<<< Then why do you keep on referring me to press articles when they agree with your viewpoint. And Gw and congress are our gov. like it or not. Clinton is a star, though. He will prosper long after all of his pathetic little detractors have disappeared from the scene. <<<<<<<< And like all big stars , when they burn out, they become a black hole sucking into oblivion anything that comes within its orbit. That is why the dems. are fleeing so fast. So they can get outside of Bill's Vacuum, lest they get sucked in also. A saying goes If a tree falls in the forest, but no one hears it, does it make a sound? <<<< Here is a similar saying If Bill once again starts lying, but no one believes his lies, is he really lying? <<<<<<
