Everyone likes to have someone else to blame for their misfortunes whether it be capitalists, colonialists, fascists, communists, Catholics, Jews, Freemasons, whites, blacks, extra-terrestrials, Goldman Sachs, short-sellers, the Devil etc etc. In my view, people are largely the makers of their own destiny. And having said that, let me me contradict myself by adding that I don't know who the "rulers of this world" are but, if the former President of the US and his Secretary of State are anything to go by, then we are all in trouble --- rich and poor alike.
