Why not just come out and say it? By now, everybody knows a new "moderated" thread has been started. And that there's been an off board effort to drain posters from this thread for over a week(g). Quite a few of us have been taking about same off board. This may come as a surprise to many. But I think it's a great idea for those dissatisfied with SD to leave. IMHO, there's nothing worse than a group of unhappy campers who feel trapped here seeing nowhere to go and carry on the kind of dialog they're comfortable with. Personally, am happy with the Strictly Drilling thread. Most of my posts are on topic and serious. On the other hand(g), have no problem with the spirited exchanges. To be perfectly honest, get great belly laughs from writing as well as reading them. Controled threads develop their own problems which some of us find more bothersome than the free wheeling open environment here. I've no ill will toward anyone who chooses to split. In time, many new contributors will replace them. "Live long and prosper." Isopatch
