Any chartists out there have a read on the recent XAU behavior? Did we just make a higher low in the mid 40's? Is resistance in the 56-57 area? If that area is resistance and we break through it, what would be the up side target from that point?

TIA

kb, will you settle for 300% in 1-2 years? >I'd personally be very interested in someone, anyone picking out another cyclical or growth area in which to make 500-800% returns.<

If yes, consider the semi equipment group. Stocks are still near their lows and in past cycles have grown 300 to 500% to the top of the cycle. [more in the last one which peaked in spring 2000 and was an aberration]. To convince yourself of that look at AMAT, the group's gorilla stockcharts.com[w,a]maclyymy[pb30][vc60][iUb14!La12,26,9!Lc20]

Sounds good to me. My views on the general state of the economy, the stock market, and oil are well known. No need to repeat them.

The next 300% gainer group? Look to insiders. The big buying in REIT's last year was prescient, wish I'd heeded it.
