Tom my point in that statement was in regards to the power that was wielded by an elite group of people who used the so-called good of the people to kill and commit other atrocities. In fact I have many times stated that no ism can compare to the violence and brutality of the ism called communism. In numerous posts I have defended the religious of today and stand up for them. Indeed one can say that Christianity has grown to a point where it is well aware of the abuses it did in the past in the name of God and have corrected most admirably. That cannot be said for the liberals who refuse to admit their wrongs. They say that there is nothing wrong with communism, it just wasn't done properly. Having said that if you say that the Church did not participate in many evil doings than I guess you stand in the camps of the liberals who say that communism was good.
