Maher,re:"PE alone...". Agree and thanks for the other
numbers. Also agree on the 'market phsychology'.

But in a 'Bear market', it's not as absolute certain as
before.

My question would be the 'money supply'. Say AG put in
$10000 (figuratively) to keep a person living reasonably
well a year. This guy spend $100000 because he sees more
are coming, easily.

Now AG seeing some trouble and stop the money supply (
last year's tightening) and now trying to correct by pumping
back some slowly. What AG don't know is the whole
market is expecting him to put in '$100000' per person
on the average to keep those people afloat. $10000 just
don't cut it anymore.

AG is at a delima here.

No, we are not Japan, sure. We spend like crazy here and
Japanese don't spend. (Can you blame them with those
high price real-estate price? Nobody has money left after
paying those rent)

Then can you blame U.S consumer when the 'income' and
'expense' curve 'CROSSED'. (One on the way up and one on
the way down).

AG: we need to crank the money printer, 7/24/365, ASAP.

BTW:(Edit): Also note that, during the 'last 6 months' or
so, the 'market psychology' backfired 'many times'.

<<depressive manic >>

Maher, the manic phase in bipolar depression is the euphoric swing counter balancing depression. Manic is not another word for or modifier of depression. It is the opposite.
