I keep meaning to mention this great contrary indicator I first noticed a couple months ago. I work at UW, and once in a great while I read the student newspaper since it's often "around." I was amazed to see that there is a daily column this year called something like "College Day Trader." I think it's been running all year, so it would have started last October. The student newspaper, with 1/4 to 1/2 page devoted with 5-minute charts of the NAZ and DOW and usually two other charts, plus several paragraphs of discussion... When I was going to UW in the early 80s, the market was never even mentioned in the student paper. I suppose I should save a few for my grandkids for the next time bubbleonians are Born Again.
