Everyone knows that Canadians come to the US for their medical care to escape the communistic system you have there. Rush talks about this all the time.

Ted.. I found this opinion piece in the Toronto Star a couple of days ago.. entitled, "US Health Care Not For Us"

None of what that article said is surprising. Here in Seattle it can take two months to see a doctor...longer if you are required absolutely to go by your health plan's preferences. Then when you go, you have to wait a long time beyond your apptment time to actually see the doctor. Plus doctors give you very little info...for fear of being sued if they are wrong. And then on top of all that, you would be surprised at how many things are not covered by the average health plan. Finally costs are going up so I keeping revising my deductible up each year to the point where my plan will only activate now for something serious like a car accident.
