So far George's shorts are very ethical and his policies are looking ethically very short

Well stated!

Since when do tax increases serve as stimulation for a sour economy? Answer: they don't; just goes to show how strong of an economy Clinton inherited and has now destroyed.

The current justification for a tax cut is the slowing economy. Prior to that, it was large surpluses. Now I suppose it could be argued that both make sense, but it appears that in fact GWB is just determined to cut taxes. I could agree with a temporary cut to prevent a recession or get out of one, but once the economy is moving again, I believe it would be better to use any surpluses to pay down the still large national debt.

OTOH, if this is the worst violation of ethics by GWB that you can come up with, he must be pretty good.

shorts- -is that a reference to the former First Molester?
