The moderated thread is a good idea but will probably be a moot point with GX at current levels. Trading shorts are among the worst offenders to a given thread and it's likely they've already covered GX and so have gone elsewhere.

The problem with posters such as these is that there is a clear lack of respect for the diversity of investment philosophies and the holders of such. The recent "raid" on this thread by a trading short exposed his/her shallowness by never once offering factual reasons for shorting. The closest they came to this was offering that the charts indicated that the stock would go down and that was so. And as if that weren't enough, the individual in question proceeded to incite with insults - how mature. To wit: "....why would you all want to be long? LOL it makes no sense." Such a comment is, ironically and perhaps unbeknownst, an insult to it's issuer.

I have no problems with shorts (and longs) if they can be respectful of others and can support their opinions with pertinent facts. In fact, a good short is one who can persuade me that my long opinion may be suspect and provide me with an opportunity to exit a potential loser. That is the value shorts can possess and longs ought to be considered likewise by the shorts.
